Salamat (album)
Salamat is the debut album of the Filipina singer-songwriter, Yeng Constantino. It was released on January 6, 2007 through Dream Big Productions and Star Records. It reached its Gold status in February of the same year and reached 3x Platinum (over 90,000 copies sold).[1]
The album has 10 tracks. 7 were originally composed by Yeng, 2 were written by her co-scholars in Pinoy Dream Academy and one is a rendition of Freddie Aguilar's OPM classic, "Bulag, Pipi at Bingi".[2] It was followed by her second album titled "Journey" .

Theme Songs
Most of Constantino's Singles from the Salamat Album were used as theme songs for ABS-CBN's Teleserye & Movie Outfit.
- Hawak Kamay - Used as the Official Theme Song for the 2007 blockbuster Movie: Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo starring Judy Ann Santos & Ryan Agoncillo, where it won the Best Theme Song.[3] It was also used for DepEd's advocacy to improve teaching in public schools.[4][5]
- If We Fall In Love feat. Rj Jimenez - Used as sub-theme for the Koreanovela Princess Hours.[6]
- Time In - Lyrics are changed and used as the official Theme Song for the Fantaserye VARGA.

"Salamat" debuted at no. 2 and stayed at this position the following week and dropped at no. 3 the following next 2 weeks. then it climbed up at no. 1 on April 15, 2007.[7] It stayed the Top 10 Albums for almost 9 months.[8]

- Hawak Kamay stayed at the no. 1 position at WRR 101.9 for 16 weeks and placed no. 8 at year end countdown.[9]
Certification
Salamat received its Gold Status 2 weeks after its release, followed by a Platinum Certification a few weeks after, until it reached a Triple Platinum status.[10]
